Person Following by Spot Light Using Camera
Rajnoch, David
This paper describes design of person tracking system connected to spot light fixture. System is able to track actor or narrator walking on stage in theatre. System is designed to be easy to use and configure. Several issues connected with such tracking is mentioned in text below.
Laser cutter interface with augmented reality elements
Kajan, Matej ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Zemčík, Tomáš (advisor)
User interface of a laser cutter with elements of augmented reality, allows for a faster and safer execution of the process of cutting. This proposal is accomplished by using methods of computer vision together with the design of a graphical user interface
3D Reconstruction of Historic Landmarks from Flickr Pictures
A convolutional neural network for image segmentation
Mitrenga, Michal ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Jirsík, Václav (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to learn more about the problem of convolutional neural networks and to realize image segmentation. This theme includes the field of computer vision, which is used in systems of artificial intelligence. Special Attention is paid to the image segmentation process. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the basic principles of artificial neural networks, the structure of convolutional neural networks and especially with the description of individual semantic segmentation architectures. The chosen SegNet architecture is used in a practical application along with a pre-learned network. Part of the work is a database of CamVid images, which is used for training. For testing, a custom image database is created. Practical part is focused on CNN training and searching for unsuitable parameters for network learning using SW Matlab.
3D reconstruction
Vít, Luboš ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
The thesis focuses on 3D measurement using line scan cameras. In response to the emphasis on quality and automatization of production nowadays, the line scan cameras are the appropriate devices providing accuracy for a belt product inspection. The first part of the thesis discusses the desing theory of optics, sensoring and image processing. The realisation of designing a mathematic instrument for evaluation of 3D shape, designing a test workspace and the main sensoring of the scene with processing with basic measuring algorithms is a content of the second part of the thesis.
Computer Interface Based on User's Head Position
Chmiel, Filip ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This paper presents the method for a head pose and orientation detection based on computer vision techniques. The method is based on the AdaBoost approach for initial face recognition and the optical flow technique for further object tracking. The detection results are further interpreted and stabilized. The method is designed for usage in designing and building the innovative user interfaces.
Image object detection
Pluskal, Richard ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
The thesis deals with design of a program for entering various types of geometric objects in an image for the purpose of their further processing. The program should also contain algorithms to ease object entering (e.g. refining manually entered object position). In the first part there is a brief description of the computer vision and its basic methods used in the work as well as introduction of the OpenCV image processing library. The following part describes three types of geometric primitives that are implemented for now. Because the output of the program is in universal XML format, there is short chapter about the XML. After that, there are summarized some methods for searching of parametric description of geometric primitives in an image. The final chapter describes the proposed system and evaluates possibility and suitability of its usage for various types of images.
LED detection using SSE instruction set
Stachera, Tomáš ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
The themes of this work is to make an instruction set for detection and counting LED in power supply control panel, with using SSE instruction set algorithm. The goal will be to compare function time for optimized and not optimized functions. The first part focuses on SSE instructions introduction, as well as on introduction of some functions using SSE instructions. The second part is dealing with algorithm for detection and counting LEDs and possibility of those algorithms optimizing with SSE instruction set. Next part introduces user interface for developed functions testing. On the very end I compare results of all functions and evaluate these results.
Augmented Reality for Training and Execution of Airplane Maintenance
Košík, Michal ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis deals wtih augmented reality applied to aircraft maintenance which is widely explored here. Furthermore, a reseach is done on the previous work done in this field. A video data-set is acquired from LET - a manufacturer of LET L-410 aircraft and an application is created in order to test possibilities of using augmented reality in aircraft maintenance. The result and proposals of the future work can be found in this thesis as well
Traffic Signs Detection and Recognition
Číp, Pavel ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The thesis deals with traffic sign detection and recongnition in the urban environment and outside the town. A precondition for implementation of the system is built-in camera, usually in a car rear-view mirror. The camera scans the scene before the vehicle. The image data are transfered to the connected PC, where the data are transformation to information and evalutations. If the sign was detected the system is visually warned the driver. For a successful goal is divided into four separate blocks. The first part is the preparing of the image data. There are color segmentation with knowledge of color combination traffic signs in Czech Republic. Second part is deals with shape detection in segmentation image. Part number three is deals with recognition of inner pictogram and its finding in the image database. The final part is the visual output of displaying founded traffic signs. The thesis has been prepader so as to ensure detection of all relevant traffic signs in three basic color combinations according to existing by Decree of Ministry of Transport of Czech Republic. The result is the source code for the program MATLAB. .
